As usual, Chihaya beats herself up with self-pity before some distant memory reawakens her belief that she can actually play the bloody game or karuta if she tries harder…we only get a brief glimpse of Queen Shinobu here but she seems interesting enough, or at least her Kyoto accent does.
And yeah I’ve been busy - first, skirt-chasing all over Japan & Hong Kong and now, indulging in CNY mahjong sessions…I’m trying to squeeze in whatever anime I can, but it’ll take some time to whittle down the backlog :|
